As a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, I spent years as a frustrated, calorie-counting, exercise fanatic until the day my son was born and I couldn’t run a vacuum let alone run a mile! Becoming a mom forced me to slow down and challenged my beliefs about what a long-term healthy lifestyle looked like.
I started to dig into the research more and discovered the importance of hormonal balance and how it affects everything! Weight, energy, mood, fertility. You name it - hormones make it happen. So I deleted my calorie counting apps, hung up my running shoes and changed my focus to fueling my body with real food. And as corny as it sounds, I have more energy and less stress now than I did before the chaos of motherhood.
I started my nutrition practice to empower other women to let go of restriction, take control of their hormones, and feel at home in their body so they can do whatever they want!
