As a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of health and wellness experience, I've been in your shoes. I started on this journey as a way to heal my own health concerns and I know what it feels like to constantly fail at something that should be so simple--health! I also know what it feels like to come back to energy, confidence, and self-love by finding joy in taking care of myself both physically and mentally.
I left the hospital setting to get personal with my clients and start untangling their complicated relationship with food to discover their happiest, healthiest self.
Education and Experience
I studied nutrition at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!!) and graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor's degree in 2009. As a member of the Women's Varsity Swim team at Ohio State, I was named Academic All Big Ten and 4-year scholar athlete. I went on to complete my dietetic internship and Master's degree through Ball State University. Since graduation, I have continued my education by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Exercise and Certified Intrinsic Coach through Intrinsic Solutions International.
I spent the early years of my career in the hospital setting where I learned the foundation of disease states and medical treatment plans. My true passion lies outside of the hospital where I have experience in nutrition counseling for weight management, gastrointestinal health, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, auto-immune disease, and sports nutrition.
