1. What are your favorite foods?

I love a good glass of wine and a steak salad with tons of blue cheese and those spicy peppers.  I’m also really into chicken wings. Yep, I’m fancy like that…

  2. Why did you decide to go into women’s health?

Honestly, I was tired of the crap nutrition advice out there for women. Seriously, you have three options:

    Cut calories and fat

    Take a diet pill

    Get on birth control

Occasionally you’ll find a rogue healthcare provider willing to listen to you and change it up, but it’s rare. I’d be willing to bet you’ve been offered at least one if not all of these suggestions. And I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that you weren’t successful for very long, and that it felt crappy. You deserve updated, evidenced-based information that’s tailored to your life so that you can enjoy and appreciate your body.

  3. What’s your favorite TV show?

Game of Thrones…hands down! Can’t wait for the next season. I also love a good trashy reality show while I work out (hellloooo Real Housewives)!

  4. How can you help me?

Chances are you already know that chia seeds are better for you than chips.  But you might be struggling with how to put the pieces together and make this a lifestyle that you can enjoy. That’s my job! I’m here to simplify all the nutrition information out there and put it together in a custom plan that will heal your body without having to drink protein shakes for every meal.

  5. Music blaring vs silence?

Music blaring. In fact I’m blasting out my eardrums with Seether by Veruca Salt as I type this. Long live the 90’s!

  6. Why don’t you offer single visits?

I’ve been doing this long enough to know that change doesn’t happen overnight. I’d love to say you’re going to meet me and walk out like a shining unicorn but unfortunately that’s not the case (not right away at least!) Old habits die hard and there will be times you are knocking it out of the park and then there will be times where you want to cancel your appointment because you ate the better part of a cheesecake. The package structure supports you through this. I want you to contact me; ask me questions, ask for support. And I will be there to give it you.

  7. Do you take insurance?

Insurance has some great benefits, but nutrition counseling is rarely one of them.  For that reason, I charge cash for my services. Now, if you have an awesome policy that covers nutrition counselingI would be happy to give you a superbill (receipt) for services rendered and you can submit that for reimbursement.

  8. How old are your kids?

Ben is 4 and Ainsley just turned 2. My house is madness…
